== Use ==
Royal brooches are exclusively used by the monarchy. There is usually one for the regent, one for their consort, one for the heir apparent, and several for the rest of the princes(ses). The only one to not follow this convention is the monarchy of [[Hearn]], where the regent and consort have a pair of brooches that are copies of each other.
