Stone Root (Qıbatat Taṛaşa in Hermian), sometimes MTS Root (Qıbatat ZTM), is a multitasking operating system developed at Marcian Telecommunication Systems Co. (Dürtıphä Zehsısi c Tärbıhä Marcı) under computer scientists Cämar Qirşu and Hamṛın Eştihä, originally released in 1691 and written entirely in Lil. Designed to be open source from the outset, almost all of its versions have been iterated upon and translated several times, becoming the basis of a large family of related systems collectively referred to as Roots, originally meant for academic use and therefore adopted mostly by universities. Today, Roots are used in several environments, including casual desktop uses. The most popular of these Roots, Poem, is based on version 4.
