The Proto-Marzo-Bhymic religion is the poorly attested religion of the Proto-Marzo-Bhymians, the ancestors of all Marzo-Bhymian peoples populating the coasts of the Gulf of the Wharm and Transzorniscia. What is known is that it was a polytheistic and had some form of divide between righteous heavenly gods and demonic hell beings residing in their respective realms.
Deities
All knowledge of the deities composing the PMB pantheon is based on reconstructions via the religion's distant descendants, notably Dimhe, and the ancient Callido-Bhymian and Matari religions.
Heavenly deities
- *Qətípar (Bhymian qtpr, Hermian qtypr Qtipar, Matari Qipar, Callidian ketipar Cetipar) was a god of judgement. In most of its later iterations, it is aniconic and represented with inanimate descriptors.
- *Zənəʔ (Bhymian znꜣ, Hermian Fn Fın, Matari Zen, Callidian zenea Zenea) was a god of the sky and ruler of the heavens.
- *Čə́hawtəyya (Bhymian ḏhwtj, Hermian cyhC Cıhüça, Matari Tsehōtya, Callidian ćeauti Ćeauti) was another ruler of the heavens of unknown relationship to *Zənəʔ.
- *Δiyad (Bhymian δjd, Hermian zyd Ziyad, Matari Δiyad, Callidian fiat Fiat) was the maker of the laws that govern the heavens and the earth.
- *Mišad (Bhymian mšd, Hermian mySd Mişad, Matari Mišad, Callidian miśat Miśat) was a protector of the devotees.
Underworld demons
- *Muwlad (Bhymian mwld, Hermian mld Mülad, Matari Mūlad, Callidian mulat Mulat) was the causer of grief and sadness.
