Timeline of prehistory (World)

This timeline of prehistory covers the time from the first appearance of subtribe Nemocyonina in southern Anidon around 5 000 000 BNB to the latest known invention of writing in 1520 BNB.

All dates are approximate and subject to revision based on new discoveries or analyses.

Pre-Palaeolithic

Main article: Pre-Palaeolithic

• 5 000 000 BNB: Fossils of the first Nemocyonina date from this time, a subtribe of Canini, ancestors of all extinct and extant species of tree dogs and felds.

Lower Palaeolithic

Main article: Lower Palaeolithic

• 500 000 BNB: First tools (amygdala, spearheads, bone daggers, bone flutes, etc) manufactured in Southern Anidon, which is also assumed to be the cradle of feldkind.
• 500 000 BNB: Early felds assumed to have been both frugivores and carnivores.
• 450 000 BNB: Early felds successfully populate much of the southern Anidonian coast.
• 450 000 BNB: Feld diet expands to include marine beings.
• 450 000 BNB: First evidence of long-distance trade.
• 420 000 BNB: Approximate appearance of Nemocyon ancestor and Nemocyon garrulus (ancestors of modern felds), both now omnivores.
• 400 000 BNB: Feld Y-chromosomal Adam.
• 350 000 BNB: Feld Mitochondrial Eve.
• 200 000 BNB: Earliest evidence of feld presence in the Arcus basin and Cisrumpapian Cicea.
• 190 000 BNB: Earliest evidence of feld presence in western Phyrea and southeastern continental Formania.
• 190 000 BNB: Fossils of the first clúnath ancestors appear, pertaining to the myllic genus Cornuvaelus or horned dogs, same as black foxes and horned wolves. They are Cornuvaelus excelsus and Cornuvaelus altus. Western to northern Phyrea.
• 180 000 BNB: Earliest evidence of feld presence in Marcia and Transrumpapian Cicea. Clothing becomes mostly widespread by this time.
• 180 000 BNB: Clúnath Y-chromosomal Adam.
• 170 000 to 40 000 BNB: First Great Drought: sea levels lower and glaciers form, the following lands connect:
  • Múne and northern Namunia, glacier.
  • Phyrea and the Hearnish isles, land connection.
  • The Northwestern Anidonian Peninsulae, land connection.
  • The Lagzha, land connection.
  • Great and Small Forman and Greater Abcad, glacier and land connection.
  • Luhan and Greater Abcad, glacier.
  • Taelian Isles and Luhan, land connection.
• 170 000 BNB: Felds and clúnydd populate Hearn, Transzorniscia and Namunia.
• 160 000 BNB: Earliest evidence of feld presence in Bahl.
• 155 000 BNB: Earliest evidence of feld sailing to Vugonesia.
• 130 000 to 100 000 BNB: Several early cultures flourish around this time.
• 130 000 BNB: Rise of Cornuvaelus caeruleus.
• 130 000 BNB: Earliest evidence of sedentary lifestyle; first proper "houses" found along the Arcus basin.
• 130 000 BNB: Earliest evidence of feld presence in Eluvh.
• 130 000 BNB: Earliest evidence of agriculture along the Arcus Lake; early domestication of anidonian rice, fonio, arcus holly, among other crops.
• 110 000 BNB: Admixture of Nemocyon ancestor and Nemocyon garrulus.
• 90 000 BNB: Rise of Nemocyon dexter.
• 84 000 BNB: Earliest advent of symbolic art.

Upper Palaeolithic

Main article: Upper Palaeolithic

• 50 000 BNB: Rise of Nemocyon dimus. and Cornuvaelus clunicus.
• 35 000 to 14000 BNB: Second Great Drought: sea levels lower and glaciers form once again, connecting the landmasses like in the first great drought.
• 30 000 BNB: Felds cross the Lagzha and populate Gogg. Clúnydd populate a large section of northern Anidon.
• 4200 BNB: First advent of writing in the Arcus basin (Bhymian hieroglyphs), beginning recorded history.
• 3600 BNB: Development of writing in Luhan (Yoro-Yikoan hieroglyphs).
• 1800 BNB: Development of writing in Namunia (Namunic hieroglyphs).
• 1520 BNB: Development of alphabetic writing in Marcia (Old Marcic scripts).
