Ar Furmwyth, or the Murmwyth, sometimes just Murmwyth (Old Phyrean: Ar Vurmwthe, "The Answer"), is a Mesdrist poetic text, often considered sacred, composed around 10 BNB of unknown authorship, though commonly attributed to Piartwyth Gwontauron. It is a compilation of mostly common Mesdrist stories, though some are regional, which, up until the creation of this text, had only ever been transmitted orally.

The Murmwth is divided into X books, beginning with the creation myth, Ar Hythaidd (Old Phyrean: Ar Hythgadhe, "The Genesis"), and ending with a version of the Mesdrist apocalypse, Ar Hylárael ("The Book of Hylár" or "The Hyláriad").
