The expected gender dynamic in a full tetragamous relationship.

The ÁGS is a quaternary system on account of the four sexes that elmians have. It is the most widespread system in Elm and the extraplanetary elmian community.

The four genders match each one of the four biological sexes: the inseminator sexes (chromosomal Ba and Bb) are matched with nenak () and neŋŋol (), the child-bearing sex (Aa) with šaqqüq () and the child-carrying sex (Ab) with mullhüq ().

Genders

Nenak

Nenak () is the gender associated with the a-inseminator sex. They are expected to be intelligent and servile. They are associated with the north.

The term means "small-horn," referring to the typical size of their photodermal hump.

Neŋŋoll

Neŋŋoll () is the gender associated with the b-inseminator sex, expected to be strong and kind to their family. They are associated with the east.

The term means "big-horn"

Šaqqüq

Šaqqüq () is the gender associated with the child-bearing sex (Aa), expected to be strong-willed and stern. They are associated with the south.

The term means "bearer."

Mullhüq

Mullhüq () is the gender associated with the child-carrying sex (Ab), expected to be meek and subservient. They are associated with the west.

The term means "carrier."
