Julee is the fourth planet orbiting star Nausicaä, and the innermost of three life-harbouring planets in the system, the others being Elm and Torch. It is the birthplace of a large array of carbon-based organisms, one of which being the juleans, its only native sophonts.
Name
From a Doylist perspective, Julee is named after singer Julee Cruise, known for her work with composer Angelo Badalamenti featured in the works of David Lynch, such as Twin Peaks and Blue Velvet. She is one of Camille's favourite artists.
Julee's name is derived from Amari Juli "soil, ground," the common name for the planet.
