This page serves as an index (and personal reminder) for standard codes and patterns used in Camille's projects. For fun's sake, the standardisation scheme used has been given the name CoS Meta Standard Conventions or CMSC for short.

CMSC-1

CMSC-1 assigns code-based identifiers to elements of worldbuilding like planets, countries, languages, sophont species and more. It is divided into various sub-standards based on topic.

  • CMSC-1/1 → projects, starting with PR-
  • CMSC-1/2 → universes, starting with UN-
  • CMSC-1/3 → galaxies, starting with GX-
  • CMSC-1/4vici stellares, starting with VS-
  • CMSC-1/5 → star systems, starting with ST-
  • CMSC-1/6 → planets, starting with PL-
  • CMSC-1/7 → geographical areas, starting with GA-
  • CMSC-1/8 → political areas, starting with PA-
  • CMSC-1/9 → sophont species, starting with SO-

CMSC-1/1 − Projects

Project CMSC-1/1 Notes
Cradle of Songs PR-COS An umbrella-code for anything within CoS that isn't specifically tied to a specific subproject.
On Earth PR-ONE Writing projects, less worldbuilding and more character-focused, happening on a furry-populated Earth.
In the Grand Scheme of Things (None of This Really Matters) PR-ONE.gst Specific focus on the disastrous life of an Australian girl named Rowan.
Warawara Expanse PR-WWX A high-fantasy project centred on a magic system called thaumaturgy.
Moonsong PR-WWX.moo
Faolsong PR-WWX.fao

Subcodes

Subcodes to further specify the kind of work being described exist as well.

  • .all for the entirety
  • .his for history
  • .bio for biology
  • .ant for anthropology and culturebuilding
  • .lng for linguistics and conlanging

CMSC-1/2 − Universes

Universe CMSC-1/2 Notes
Cosmos UN-OUR "Our universe."
Dess UN-DES
All UN-MAL From Moonsong All, to distinguish it from .all subcodes.

CMSC-1/3 − Galaxies

Only one code is used here at all: GX-MKW for the Milky Way. This substandard exists preemptively if I ever fancy doing something intergalactic.
